LOL, yeah that's kind of the whole point of VMK in the first place. Unfortunately I don't see me being able to get the Stitch stuff, as I have an annual pass and there is no reason for me to buy a complete vacation package. Oh well.

I did get insureance..but we have a special room so I'm not sure if we cancel that someone on a waiting list will get it. And the fee's for canceling and rebooking..I feel very upset at VMK for being misleading.

Now that you have "ammunition" (the Website), give someone a call and kill them with kindness. You paid good money for that trip - why should you not be eligible to get these cards. I think you will find you will get what you want. Do not let up till you talk to the right person. Good Luck.

I have one question what kind of tickets did you have to purchase was it the lenght of stay type or any tickets?


The one thing I do not like about this deal is it is ONE per reservation!

Just to pass this along... I checked the WDW site and booked every package availble and no stitch cards popped up.

I was hoping..... but no such luck.

I agree, it should be, at least, for booking a trip to either WDW or DL, but it seems on DL.

Not sure WHEN they will add it....I just have it from a very good source that it will indeed be available for WDW...hopefully I will not have to eat those words.

But being that it took them almost 2 weeks to get it on the DL site give them about another 2 weeks for WDW.

Just a word of caution, Disneyland has very expensive cancellation penalties. I know how tempting it is to book then cancel BUT Disneyland is not like WDW and you will pay to cancel once you book and pay the deposit.

Land Cancellation & Change Fees: A fee is assessed each time a change and/or cancellation is made.

The cancellation/change fees are per reservation and are as follows:

Outside of 30 days prior to scheduled arrival - A non-refundable $50 cancellation fee applies.

5-29 days prior to scheduled arrival - A non-refundable $200 cancellation fee applies.

0-4 days prior to arrival - A non-refundable 50% of total Package price applies

I just found this out =(, my nephew and brother-in-law are very upset about this. They were looking forward to getting this add on. We booked a suite online (1 bedroom), and called to see if we could have concierge added on, we kept calling to ask about the stitch package. Apparently when you book a suite it goes to the Disney reservation company and NOT the online reservationists (who I found out do not work together). With adding concierge and how we kept calling we apparently qualify for phone booking. With that being said the stitch package is ONLY for booking online at this time only. Some people have sweet talked the managers to pay $25 or $50 for this package. Canceling and rebooking online with a different room with everything we will lose $200-$300. I'm very upset at VMK for not giving out proper info about the hat WEEKS ago when they said "book NOW for this package".

Awww, Tiinkerbelle, that it just awful. I would still try calling once or twice again to see if a different representative could be more helpful... though we all know that they should give you 10 stitch packagaes just for all the trouble you had calling all those times in the first place.

There is a solution to all of this chaos that Disney could have done to make it all the more effective. Rather than having to book a new trip (thus shunning people who have already booked) they should have them at check-in at all Disneyland and Walt Disney World hotels/resorts for anyone who asks ( like how you have to ask when you get cards for purchases sometimes ) until the promotion is over. That way, it would still be at check in, so they wouldn't have to worry about people cancelling their trips, people would still be booking expensive reservations to get their virtual items, and it would be fair to all those who are paying that much to go and stay there anyways. And if it were just for staying at the hotel, people with annual passes would not get left out either. A hotel/resort is the most ex*****ive part about a Disney trip so this would be a good option for them. Oh how I'd love to be on VMK's planning committee...

yes her signature did say: "get stitch hat from booking a trip to Disneyland" but it is not just her fault. i hope vmk works out these problems and you can recieve your Stitch package.

Important To All: If YOu Get Extra Stitch Hats, Pins, or blue travel crates because i learned from the buzz pin gift thread i had people were gifting out of order which is not fair for the people who signed up first

Hey. First of all, I don't believe LisaWDW coerced you to book a trip. Please don't go blaming any one person for Disney errors.
Secondly, it's just a Virtual Hat! Is it really worth getting so upset over? Relax, have a great trip and come back to VMK with no regrets for going to WDW.
