Sunday Nov 14

I purchased a mug and had coffee and I let Devon sleep as long as possible.

We headed out to catch the bus for MK. We enjoyed our monorail ride over to the Poly. We were taking a day off from the parks and sort of playing things by ear. We had PS's for the Kona Cafe'. I have never been so was eager to try it and we were getting hungry. We still had a bit of a wait, so we found a gift shop. Devon is into pins and Stitch stuff. Our server was Omar and we ordered a Big Kahuna breakfast to share and a chocolate milk. Plenty to share and left some eggs that were a little too wet for Devon. We also ordered a bowl of fruit that I thought was a bargain for 2$ a nice size bowl and the fruit was tasty and ripe. I would recommend this place, but make a PS. Nice breakfast.

Back to the monorail. I asked to sit in front, no one else was around so we liked that. Devon was impressed! A great view of the GF and I asked the driver if she ever got sick of seeing this beautiful hotel and she said, never. What a job!

From here we took the bus to the Swan to try the Fantasia Fairways. We worked up a good sweat and it took us about 2 hours to finish up. I'm glad we did this first thing in the morning, while we still had a little energy.

We needed to work up an appetite because we were on our way to Beaches and Cream for lunch. Another one of our favourites. We said we didn't mind sitting at the counter, so I didn't even finish going to the restroom before our beeper went off. Our waitress gave us two glasses of lemonade. We were sharing a Q+C voucher. They were also nice enough to split our burger. I got the lettuce and tomato and he got the pickles. We split a No Way Jose'. Well No Way did we finish it, just a good dent. YUM!!

Back to the resort to relax and have coffee. After a bit of swimming we headed out to DTD to shop. When we were done we went back to Fantasia Gardens to do another round of half price mini-golf. We both really enjoyed it. This was no work like the fairways, just fun! And it was dark so the lights were pretty and magical.

Back to DTD to have a snack at the Rain Forest Cafe'. I have been here many times and I knew it would be full and noisy. Had spicey wings and carrots and celery sticks with dip. I must have been vegetable deficient because they were really good! Devon had a kid pizza. The only thing I didn't like was they sat us too close to the entry way. Not one person that walked by did not hit my chair. We had a orange sherbet smoothy thing that was good enough for dessert! This meal was a bit overpriced, but we enjoyed it anyway.

Back to Pop. Devon took a dip in the pool while I chatted with the family on the phone.

Coundn't sleep again-too noisy by the pool. :guilty:

Make a note to self: No overeating tomorrow!

I always thought I would like a pool view, but not after reading about all the noise you had to endure. I can't wait to eat at Beaches and Cream on our next trip. I have read such good reviews on their hamburgers. :D
