Stitch preview!!!!!!!!!!! 11/5, 6, 7

That's right?everyone's favorite extraterrestrial is on the loose and running amok in the newest Magic Kingdom attraction, Stitch's Great Escape!?, scheduled to open on November 16. Help the Galactic Federation try to capture the escaped Experiment 626 during a special sneak preview offered to Members during regular Magic Kingdom hours on November 5, 6, and 7, 2004. Just show your blue Disney Vacation Club Member ID card at the attraction entrance, and let the adventure begin. (Please note that paid admission to the Theme Park is required for participation in this preview, and the attraction is subject to closure without notice.)

I really, really, really hope they have an even "softer" opening the last week of October during our visit. Fingers and toes are crossed !!!

Me too. Last year, I also missed AP previews for Mickey's Philharmagic by a week.

I want to cry....we are going to be in Disney then, and while we will probably be in the MS system by the third week in October, what are the chances will actually have our ID cards?

Our DS (5) has been waiting all year to see Stitch and now we may have to wait to our June trip b/c we won't have ID cards yet!

Sorry to vent, I am just really frustrated with our finance company right now, but I'll leave that for another post!!!

Those are the same dates for the AP preview so if you have an AP, that will work too!

I knew that the AP preview was then and was hoping that DVC was gonna be earlier!

Oh well, have to wait until December to see it!

We'll be too early (see my countdown below). But you never know. We went walking through MGM once and a CM invited us to come in and have a private us-only preview of Star Tours a full month ahead of the opening. Outside the simulation cars, the waiting areas hadn't even been painted or decorated yet and they only had one car working. We'd never heard anything about the ride, so its funny storyline took us by surprise and just blew us away!

You'll be fine. By the time you're there, it'll remain open for soft openings. Usual caveat that they can close the attraction at any time etc. etc.

You may have temproary id cards by then. We received temporary cards within a week or so of putting our down payment down. Of course, that was buying direct from Disney -- not sure about the wait when buying resale.

Those are the same dates as the AP preview, so if we have both, can a guest of ours, has no AP or DVC, accompany us on the preview. We will have three cards/passes and there are three of us in total. Two of us will be DVC and AP holders, so can the third person use the card we are not using to join us on Stitch? He will have a room key from SSR on those days.

I don't want to leave him out, it will be his first trip to the world.

HEY, that's my birthday ( nov 16 ) but we will have all ready been there in Oct so won't make it for the opening.

My son was in the Magic Kingdom within the last week and they had actually been doing test runs of the new Stitch ride. You didn't need an AP or to be a DVC member. Unfortunately, my son did not get in to see it. It was only open for a brief time but for those people going in October (including me ) there may be hope.
