Stitch and Tinkerbell Disappearing???

Hi,

I read somewhere on a thread about the Photopass that you should get your CD soon after pictures with Stitch or Tinkerbell because they disappear within a few days.

Can anyone explain. Stitch is one of my DS new favs. and I would hate to loose the picture.

Does this only happen with the Disney Photopass - won't it "stay" if I take the picture myself?

I havent heard that they disappear after a few days.. Once you return home and log on to the website and put the # that is on the back of your card you have I believe 30 days to view and purchase pictures.. I was at WDW last month.. although its been almost 30 days I can still view mine and the Tinkerbell and Stitch are still there..

You cant get them in your picture with your own camera.. Disney puts them in the photo after your picture is taken.. Its something that they do.. This isnt something that you will get when you take the picture with your own camera..

I would be VERY sad if that is true. I know when I got my photopass last year, I looked at my photos online for over a month (although it says only 30 days). I had already purchased them but kept going back to them until I actually got the pictures in the mail. None of the "magic" disappeared. However, I haven't ever used the CD, so I don't know anything about it. I want to get one when we go this time though!!!

just got back and got a good tip from a cm at toontown. He noticed that we had a lot of kodak pics on our photopass where tinkerbell and stitch are in the pics. he told us to have the cd burned right then because tinkerbell and stitch sometime disappear after 3 or 4 days. then at the end of our trip go to DTD and they will burn another cd free of charge with your receipt of all your pics. that way you are sure not to lose your stitch and tinkerbell shots. Worked great and we got all of our pics. The cms at toontown seem to be much better at adding borders and cropping things into the photo than at DTD

Okay I found the post I was talking about....could someone explain this to me. I have never been to WDW with photopass....last trip was 7 years ago
