I did some on-line black Friday shopping. Actually, I sent DH to Walgreens to buy the HM holiday doll & B1G1 free lil' webkinz. Online, I bought DD a winter coat, a photo keychain for my work grabbag, a refurb. IPOD shuffle for DD (she's too young for an expensive one), an IPOD for my sister for her 40th in March (yep, way ahead on that one), a nike plus sensor for me b/c mine just died, an armband for sister's IPOD, a HM Nintendo DS game for niece's b-day, a leather storage ottoman for our living room.......

I think that is it. Almost forgot, we went to Sams club to pick up our X-mas photo cards. Bought a wall mount for the TV, a movie gift card for my Mom, apple juice, and bacon.

We went and cut down a X-mas tree today too.

Funny, I thought I was done X-mas shopping a few months ago.

We just finished watching Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Looonnnnggggg movie, 2 hours. Did you guys see it?

My foot is killing me from one of them!!

We just finished watching Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Looonnnnggggg movie, 2 hours. Did you guys see it?

I havent seen the movie - but heard it was funny? Yes/No? I watched 21 tonight. It was a teenager movie in disguise. I totally thought it looked interesting when I saw the previews... it was a teenager movie. At least it was only a buck at Redbox.

You will also hear about my birthday for weeks prior. And I generally make up a wish-list and send that out, as well.

I didnt see your hubby at Walgreens (thats the only place I went - buy one for $8 and get 2 free - and theyre nice rip-offs of Yankee. They smell good) He must'a been there earlier than me - I was a 9 am Black Friday shopper.

Honestly, I wasn't that impressed by the movie. I thought it was supposed to be funny too and it wasn't that funny. It was OK. Didn't hate it, didn't love it. Just OK. We watched the unrated version. There were some dirty parts. Good thing Abby didn't walk in on those parts.

He was at Walgreens at the crack. DH is an early bird. I was still sleeping so I think he got there at 7 when they opened. He had to go take care of his Dad today so I know he wanted to get in and out of there early.

I just watched Survivor too. Any of you watch Survivor? If you watch it, what famous WOMAN does Matty remind you of?

Hi girls. It hasn't been a good week. We lost my Nana on Wednesday. It didn't even feel like we had Thanksgiving. She was an amazing lady who lived a very happy and healthy life. She was just about to turn 92. We are trying to focus on the positive things about her.

Kind of interesting I saw you guys were talking about bad things happening during the holidays. I forgot what else you were talking about, except for birthdays. Of course you all know who I share a birthday with!

We saw Dirty Dancing today! It was really good. Then we surprised my Mom with a dinner at Wildfire. Her sister, cousins, and Aunt were there. She was very surprised. Dinner was soooo good. Her sister & my cousin paid for the whole thing, 13 of us. Soooo nice of them!

Getting ready for the 5 inches of snow we are going to get Sunday into Monday.

Cat - you doing the parade? Abby is in it for Daisies so look for her if you are there.

Did anyone do any Black Friday shopping? What'd-ya get?

I went but I got so many things that I hardly remember what I got....I know I got something at every store we went too....We went to Wal-Mart, Kohl's, Sears, Lowes, Circuit City, Target, and Gamestop. We got a new washer and dryer at Sears! Front load washer and dryer for $599 total! Woohooo!

Angel ~ I wish our house prices were like that! That house would be 600,000 to 800,000 depending on location in my town. Closer to Seattle it would probably go close to seven figures depending on the location, view, water access, yard etc. Our house is 30 years old and we hope to get 600,000 for it. In this market we probably won't though. I have two friends with houses on the market in town right now and one is 1.2 million and one is 1.5 million. Their houses are much nicer than mine though!

I have one around my big toe on my left foot and have had 2 seperate ones on my right foot. Both hurt terrible *when I got them done*. I dont recall them hurting after the fact??

Keep an eye on that. I dont know if that's good. I mean, a minor ache is one thing - but not THAT much pain. KWIM?

Yes, it is SNOWING and sticking! UGH! I don't want to go to this parade, but DD really wants to go. I think I might just sit in my car until she is done. Is that bad?

So, our fireplace is coming along. Just tile left to do and hang the TV and find something to hold all the components, DVD, DVR, etc......

Xena - Housing prices are the same around here. For $200,000, you get a fixer upper. That house Angel showed would be from 700K - over $1M depending on location.

Angel - nice tree. We have our tree & lights up, but no ornaments yet. I think we are going to do that later today, maybe.....

So, no Survivor watchers here? I'm dying from someone to watch it and know who Matty is related to. He looks just like her.

Guess what came in the mail yesterday! My Vegas travel stuff! WOO HOO! Good thing DH didn't get the mail b/c it was big old Southwest Vacations envelope! I still haven't told him and he is still going to kill me when he finds out.

So, what are you all going to do today? Those of you who are not going to be snowed in like Cat and I.

No snow here today just cold and rainy. My mom picked an angel off the tree at church this morning the the friggin kid wants like one of this years hottest items, we can't find them anywhere. Getting ready to go back out and look at another store. If we can't find it we'll just get her some Tinkerbell stuff and call it a day. Just gave the dog a bath.....thats pretty much it for today, nothing very exciting.

Ive gotten myself hooked on the CLEAN line.

I already had Baby Girl (and from what Ive read, it was the least liked out of all of them)

I got a sample of a few of them, and I just adore them. Theyre so...Clean smelling. Like laundry soap.

I have too much perfume. It's an addiction Im not ready to give up just yet.
