Oh yes they are a HUGE problem where I am.
The good news is they don't lay eggs inside. only outside on the backs of leaves.
The bad news is there really is nothing you can do to get rid of them

other than try to figure out how they are getting in (which I have still not figured out in my own house) At any given time I can find about 10 in my house lol. I kill them and dispose of them but there still seems to always be at least 10
they are going to start coming out in the warmer weather and heading back outside. in the summer you won't see much of them. but the fall is when they are the WORST. They are starting to try to come in to hibernate. in the fall we are over run with them. UGH
I don't know whose hubby said they smell like pears LOL but I think he needs to get his sense of smell checked haha. although I guess that would make them a little more pleasant to live with if they just smelled like pears.
