Still waiting for Vero July 2,3,4

Well- I am still on the waiting list for any type of room other than a 2 bedroom or beach cottage and nothing yet!!

I have told MS to waitlist me up until 7 days prior to arrival. We head to OKW on June 28

My question is- what are my chances of us getting a room?
Anyone with any Vero waitlist success stories?

Then....if I do get a studio or OVIR and I am currently in a one bedroom at OKW-what happens to the additional points I am not using if we would get a room after the 31 day mark?

Those points become "holding" and can only be used to make a ressie at the 60 day or less before the new ressie time frame. Those points cannot be banked or borrowed. They will expire at the end of the UY if not used.

Maybe you would want to change the waitlist to only include accomodations that use the same amount or very close to the same amount of points, to prevent having many points in that category.

PS. I have to admit that once I understood those rules, I don't stay on waitlists that use fewer points close to the check in date.
