We leave tomorrow for our first trip to WDW! :jumping1:

I am still undecided about driving or busing to MK. We are staying at the BWV. Me, DH, DD9. We will walk/boat to Epcot and HS. We will drive to AK. Here is the info about our 2 trips to MK:

Tuesday 5/3 - Would like to arrive at MK gates by 4:30 p.m. Will leave MK after Wishes (along with a few 1000 friends!)

Friday 5/6 - Would like to arrive at MK gates by 7:30 a.m. for early EMH. Will leave MK between 2:00-3:00 p.m.

So, WWYD on those 2 trips to MK? Drive or bus? Or maybe one is better for driving and one is better for busing? I can't decide!

Thanks!

If you have some extra time Tuesday - walk thru Epcot and grab the monorail to MK. It's neat if you have never done it before.

Exactly what I was going to suggest!
If you can't, or just choose not to, go through Epcot and use the monorail, I would take the bus. Taking the bus is almost always faster than driving.

you are going to be waiting for transportation either way Tuesday at the end of the night plus if you drive you will wait for parking lot tram and the in the line of cars leaving the parking lot. Tuesday I would bus and either grab a snack to enjoy or look thru shops taking time to leave. maybe make a stop at the restroom. object is kill 30 to 40 minutes to head to bus lines. you are going to wait in line. with the EMH on other day it again might be better to bus as they sometimes hold people at the TTC to make it easier for onsite guests to get in gates at MK

Thanks everyone! Sounds like bus it is. We don't have hoppers so no walking through Epcot to catch the monorail

Just got back from the BWV (Trip was 4/21 - 4/26). Buses were not a problem. We had our own bus to and from the MK & AK - no sharing! :teeth" We only shared for Disney Springs.

The bus stop now has one of those monitors that lets you know when to expect your bus. For some reason, knowing when it's coming makes any wait easier to take, LOL! We lucked out, though as didn't wait for any bus anywhere for more than 5 -10 minutes, max. Hope you have similar good fortune. :)
