Still seem to be having problems getting on

I know that there was another update last night, and I was told to let you guys know if I'm still having problems getting on...well, I am. At times the page will come up blank, and it still takes quite a long time load, if it will load at all. Just thought I'd let you guys know.

Since late Sunday night until 3:15 Monday, I couldn't get on this forum at all. I have a cable modem also(RoadRunner). Is it me or has there been a lot of problems with this site the last 10 days or so? I hope this is all corrected and running smoothly again.

Yes, we're having problems.

We have Alex chained in the server room and he's not allowed to leave until he has everything running smoothly again. Not to worry though, we slip him some bread and water every few days.

Thanks for the update Lisa, does this happen a lot on this forum. I just found about this forum about a month ago.

No. It used to happen a lot before we moved the boards to vbulletin last April. Since then, the boards have run very well.

It's a big undertaking to change servers and there will be bugs to work out for a bit. Alex is a whiz at this stuff. He really has been working night and day, not to mention his "real" job. I'm sure he'll have everything back up to snuff as soon as he can.
