We leave in 2 weeks & would like to have an idea of the HH resort activities. Just want to get an idea for my boys.

Have you tried calling the resort directly? I don't have the number in front of me but before we went to HH in December, I called the resort and had them fax me an activities list. It was nice knowing what was offered before we got there.

Have a great trip!

We just returned from HH and I happen to have a copy of the activities for the week we were there. I would imagine they would be close in the coming weeks. Here's what they offered for kids and the costs.....
unbirthday party - ages 7-12 & ages 3-6
Gyotaku - ages 5 & up cost $10 for members/$12 non-members
Disney creative chefs pizza on the grill - ages 5-12 cost $10/12
Kids night out - disney detectives - ages 5-12 cost $20/25
Face painting
Pirates of the calibogue - families
Sea Island Shakers & Sticks - families
beach soccer - ages 5-12
Kids night out - movie - ages 5-12 Cost $20/25
Discovery club butterflies ages 3-6 cost $20/25
Discovery club big murggies Marsh Adventure - ages 7-12 Cost $20/25

There are also several family activities (magic, Shadow tales, campfire, pool games). The one thing our 7 year old would have probably enjoyed was the kids night out detective evening but they were all filled up by the time we tried to register. If something interests you, you might want to sign up early.

Our boys, 2 & 7, loved riding bikes to the beach every day and playing in the ocean. Then we'd go to the beach house pool for a bit before riding our bikes back to the resort. They loved swimming in the Big Dipper pool and our DS7 loved the slide. Our DS2 chickened out after he sent me down to catch him. They loved crabbing off of the pier and watching for dolphins swim in the creek. DS7 loved looking for Hidden Mickey's.

I'll bet your kids will enjoy HH. Our 7 year old prefers it to DW. Have fun!!

Just back from HH also.
DS9 was on standby for the Disney Detectives, but ended up doing the movie night instead.

They also had a few more activities while we were there.

Bird Watcher's Heaven- all ages
Longview Arts and "Crabs" ages 5 & up cost $12 members/$15 guests
Flag Raising Ceremony- all ages
Music & Lore of the Low Country- all ages
Disney Discovery Club (7 hours w/half-day option):
Little Murggie's Marsh- ages 3-6 cost $40 members/$50 guests
Big Murggie's Beach Adventure- ages 7-12 cost $40 members/$50 guests
Kids Night Out- Mini Golf- ages 5-12 cost $20 members/$25 guests
I Know Whooo You Are (and What You Ate Last Night)-Adults & families- $5/pellet

Ok, that last one sounded disgusting to me after my sister explained what it was. Anybody here ever try this activity?

Also, Tuesday nights there are fireworks, I believe throughout the entire summer season. We had a front row seat on our balcony. Very nice.
One evening they opened up the slide in the Big Dipper pool for family night sliding. Although we enjoyed this pool, the water seemed almost too warm. The water at the beach house pool was noticably cooler. Later learned from a CM that they'd been putting ice in the beach house pool to cool it down.

Enjoy!
