Ahoy there
By the way, are impatiens normally supposed to be six feet tall?
Ok, I know I'm way behind, so I'm going to start from the back and work my way forward in handfuls. Ever since they took away my puter at work, and most of the other ones, iti's gotten bit trickier keeping up. I will have a new chapter up tomorrow for sure, even if I have to start drinking at 6 in the morning.
I mean typing.
Am I still a good hubby since I got my self one also?
We haven't had quite the storms you all have, but it has rained pretty much every day, so the weeds areThat was on the agenda for today, but it looks like it's gonna rain AGAIN

No, You don't mean Typing...you DO mean DRINKING. It's more fun that way!
Yeah...you can have a margarita ans still be a good hubby. Now if you had one, and didn't get her one, then WATCH OUT!!!!![]()
Wow, 40 years! Good going. Say hi to Roebuck for me.
No can do - When Kmart took over Sears, Alvin Roebuck was the first one to get his walking papers. They changed the name from Sears Roebuck and Co. to Sears Holdings Inc.
And I'll play too - I was 26 for the first 8 months of 1975 when I turned 27 on August 16th. (Yes, Elvis died on my birthday 2 years later)

I was 2 for most of '75 until I turned 3 in November.
Oh yeah, Nebo, love the report. Keep it coming!
Hiya Nebo...We just got back from our trip and had a great time.
You were right about the Flametree BBQ. It was one of the better counter service meals we had all trip.![]()

Well, Rhonda, it's just you and me and Marita, bringing up the geriatric set. And whom do we have to thank for this? HMMM? And you LIKE going to Disney with her?
Rhonda has left the building!
Geriatric set??? I resemble that remark!!!!!!!!!!!
Did you know that in the Villages (huge retirement community in FL), they consume more booze than ( I forgot the comparison), just get the drift, and STD is rampant.. Geriatrics know how to have fun.
Not to mention riding all over town in golf carts. Did I mention that is my ambition?

I soooo did not need to know that! My mother lives north of Tampa in one of those said-communities and well.... eewwwwww!
Now I have to go read Nebo's update - hopefully it will erase the thought of my mother going out on a bender in her golf cart and coming home with... nope, can't even type it!![]()

Those things are mighty scary!!!OHH, GIRLS ARE GONNA HAVE FUN111
It's called something like golden years for a reason![]()

we almost got taken out by a very tall, very heavy, maniacally driven mousekeeping cart at the Pop Century!!!!![]()
You were right to warn me.Those things are mighty scary!!!
"I'm getting in the Clamshell, now."
"Oh , look, there is the seat, WAY behind the open doorway. "
"Be Careful, honey, you don't want to FALL."
I was very surpised they didn't give me an ovation when I finally sat down.
The bus didn't take long at all, and I actually got a seat.
The old lady in the ecv didn't seem to mind at all, me sitting in her lap.
I was able to hold up 3 French tourists, a couple from Japan, and an old lady from Arkansas, before I felt I was pushing my luck. heh
This may be the funniest part so far.

I thought I was the only one who LOVED that song. I was so happy when I finally downloaded it somewheres online. And I STILL really miss, "Tomorrow's Child".

Another longtime lurker. Really enjoying your report. I have to be careful not to Laugh out loud when I'm reading it at work!
