I have been reading and reading and reading----I need clarification and I know someone on here has the clear and concise answer I need. When you pick your reception venue----there is a fee to rent the venue and a minimum food and drink amount. Is the minimum in addition to the per person amount required for a Wishes wedding? Or does the $175.00 per person for dinner cover the minimum for the venue? And does the venue fee count towards the minimum enhancement fee?

No, it is not in addition. You have to meet the food and beverage minimum for both the reception ($175/person for Wishes dinner) and for the venue. If your venue's food and beverage minimum is less than what you would have to pay at $175/person, you don't have to worry about the venue's minimum at all. For example, we had a venue food and beverage minimum of $1000 for our venue. But we spent $125/person for thirty guests, which was over $3000, which was more than sufficient to satisfy the venue's minimum.

And does the venue fee count towards the minimum enhancement fee?

I'm not positive, but I believe yes: anything that you have to pay DFTW that is not basic ceremony or food counts, but I would clarify with your planner to be sure. We didn't have a venue fee so I don't know for certain.

Yes, the reception venue fee counts toward the enhancement minimum.
