Still Can't decide between PO-FQ and CSR

 Here's my problem. This is my parent's last trip with me and my dd (9) and I want it to be really special. My first pick for a resort was the PO-FQ . We stayed at Riverside 3 1/2 years ago in the AB section. My dd chose CSR and I do think it looks like a beautiful resort however, I am worrying (endlessly) about the convention thing, the vastness of the resort and the lack of greenery and keep wondering if I should switch back. Splitting the stay isn't an option with my parents.

I've read all the posts on the board but still can't make up my mind :( I need some opinions on this please.

Thanks.

I've been at both, for what it's worth. The greenery level is about the same. I did not find the convention aspect of CS in any way disturbing. The convention attendees seem to remain in areas of that resort that you rarely see. You would occasionally see people in suits walking around, but people in suits just contributes to the overall impression of an upscale resort.

The biggest noticeable difference is size. POFQ feels tiny and CSR feels very large -- mostly because the resort is situated around a good-sized lake. It is a truly beautiful resort. CS feels upscale and sophisticated. POFQ feels cozy and quaint. Both are wonderful in their own ways. Just depends on the feeling you want.

Thanks for both of your responses. Mario I checked your website from the very beginning and it is truly a beautiful and serene looking resort. I just wanted to make sure that the "magic" and ambiance is there as well and that it wouldn't be too convention like. Also, my Mother loves the gardens in the FQ but my dd is in love with CSR so it looks like that's where we're headed and I'm sure we'll love it.

Can't wait. 2 months to the day!!!

I would delfinitely choose Coronado Springs. Many consider it the "deluxe" of the moderates. I like the extras offered like the in room coffeemaker. The resort itself is gorgeous! It has the nicer pool and the better food court. The direct bus to the Boardwalk is a big plus too.

are they still doing the bus to the Boardwalk?

I thought I read in another post that it was discontinued.
