I loved 2 of his statements.
1. I paid $160,000. I thought that covered everything.
2. I would have paid if I had been given a bill.
Now the normal person who has a small home and has it renovated to a 2 story home with wrap around porches, etc might be able to get it done for $160,000.00 if they put a lot of sweat equity into the project and kept to a strict budget. But I think the before and afters may show that this was more than the average $160,0000 remodel. If the average person was having so much extensive work done, wouldn't you think, gee, the electricians were here a few months back and never asked for any money, I better look into it?
But I am not a senator, so maybe my way of thinking is different than his.
Is he still remaining in the reelection race?
