Stern Is Streaming!!!!!!

JUST A FYI-- TO STERN FANS ONLY......

Any Howard Stern fans who do not have SIRIUS can NOW sign up and listen to him through the internet!! no equipment needed!!!

This is GREAT! no dragging around my boombox down to my home office- its coming RIGHT through my speakers! wooo hooo - it a GREAT day!

another thing if you were a fan who used to listen to him on FM radio-- he got all of his old tapes back from CBS and they are playing a small amount of the old bits........not a lot they still need to put them in order etc- but that is going to be even MORE HOWARD we can hear!

I couldn't get him in my building here at work with my other antenneas so now this is great......

It's about time - they had been putting this off for a while. I would still like them to get the other talk channels streamed.

I tried it Saturday night and it was cutting out every once in a while (just like my radio.... )

I refreshed the browser and it started working again.

Traffic will probably be heavy on Monday because it is new, but I think Stern is off for the next week or two so the shows will be repeats, which may keep traffic down for a while.

mine has been great all morning- no problems at all! today howard is in the studio--

i know he has been talking about holding off on the steaming until they KNEW it would work becasue of all the traffic and the site might crash....i guess they got it right!

i turned it on kind of late- but didnt he say he was going to be off just thursday and friday of this week? i didnt hear him say the next few weeks!
