Yeah...I'm a dewd and I read Stephanie Plum books.

How come this doesn't surprise me?! I know a couple of dewds who enjoy Stephanie Plum books, my DH being one of them. Although I only got him to read one and that was because we were on a cruise and he finished the book he brought. But he enjoyed it and then understood why I had been waking him with laughter while reading in bed.

The other is the general manager of the Saturn dealership where I get my car serviced. (I've been a regular customer for 12 years! ) His wife turned him onto them and then got ticked when he passed her up in the series.

I just discovered Stephanie Plum! I am gonna start #4 tonight. They are hilarious, I gave my Mom the first 3 and she is currently reading them. My dad had a minor surgery yesterday, and she called to tell me she was sitting in the waiting room crying from laughing so hard and she was sure everyone else in the waiting room thought she was nuts! Apparently Grandma shooting the chicken got to her

I love this series! I can't wait to read the book! I just wish they would make the series into a movie. I saw Janet Evanovich being interviewed once and she said the rights to the book for a movie have been bought (and it was like 10 years ago they were bought) but nothing has ever come of it. Don't you think it could be a hilarious movie? I know that the movies are never as good as the books but still.........

Like I said earlier I am re-reading the series, but just moments ago I finished 4 and I forgot how funny it was. I loved Sally Sweet! Such a great series! The first time I read it I devoured it and read it too fast. This time around I am taking my time and enjoying it. I love Joe, but I have to say that I adore Ranger! Oh baby do I love me some Ranger!

Book 8 is the "HOT" one......ahhhhhh if only there were a Ranger in my life

I don't like the in between books - reading Plum Spooky and it is slow.....can't get into the Diesel character and really miss Joe and Ranger.
