Has anyone bought and/or read Twelve Sharp yet?

I need to get to BJ's this week to buy it.

I read Eleven on Top in WDW, so I probably need to re-read it since my mind really wasn't on the book.

I just love this series. I may just read the whole series again before starting book 12 - it's that good!

Oh thank you so much! I forgot it was due out this week. This will hopefully life my spirits or at least give me some escape for a bit. I reread all that novels quite a bit. They are so funny.

We got it yesterday. But we're both in the middle of other books (KAMommy's reading some bodice ripper, I'm a bit more than halfway through Garrison Keillor "Love Me"). Whoever gets done first has first dibs - my money's on KAMommy.

I bought it yesterday and read it last night. My husband was annoyed that I laughed out loud while he was trying to watch the ball game. Lula, as usual, is outrageous, and Grandma Mazur is up to some of her old tricks along with a new one.

Not the best of the series but enjoyable, somewhat predictable.

There was a good interview with Janet Evanovich in a recent issue of "Entertainment Weekly" (maybe last week's). I really respect her. She realizes she's not going to write the next Great American Novel, she knows her audience, and she writes FOR her audience. The Stephanie Plum books are very good reads.

I LOVE this series and I can't wait to pick up #12. :) I think I'll head to the bookstore this weekend.

Great coupon! Thanks!
I love this series and can't wait to read another!!

Picked up my copy today. Going to read it over the weekend and once I'm finished think I may re-read the series again.

Can't wait to catch up with all of the old characters. Looking forward to reading all about Ranger and Morely.

I just reread 1 through 3. I can't wait for 12 to arrive at the library.

(Scary thing is ... I don't remember reading 1 through 3. I know I did, but it was like reading brand new books!)

I don't think I read "Eleven" yet. I stopped buying hardcovers. So I guess the 11th one will be out in paperback?

I loved her early books... tore right through them. But these last couple I think have just been... ehhhh... same old same old.

I'm sure I'll read it, but I'll probably wait until it hits the bargain table at Barnes and Noble.

They are pure "fun". I think my favorite was when Lula was on her high protein diet. Picturing her running down the street with bacon, dogs chasing her, and her mini skirt hiked up... :rotfl: Guess I will need to pick up #12.

Thsi is such a great series. Looking forward to the new one. Love Grandma Mazur!!

So, I read 11 today. Now I just have to read 12 - especially after reading the preview at the end of 11. OMG!!!

I just heard of this author on another thread here on the DIS and now I really want to read her books!! I guess I should start at the beginning though, right... One For The Money?

Yes, definitely start at the beginning. It's a great series & you have to see all the history between everyone

Woooo! Now I can go find 11 in paperback!

...Oooh and you Stephanie Plum fans, go find Kyra Davis' two books. #1: Sex, Murder and a Double Latte and #2 Passion, Betrayal and Killer Highlights. Her main character, Sophie Katz is very Stephanie'esque. :p The writing style, the humor is all very similar to J. Evanovich's.

Bought at Target yesterday for $18.66 and they give you a $ 5 Target gift card with purchase of Twelve Sharp. Not a bad deal....
