step stool at POR

My 2.5 year old DD likes to be independent and uses her stepstool at home to get onto the toliet and then to wash her hands at the sink. Do the resorts have stepstools you can use? I know it will be a fight for me to "help" her to wash her hands without a stool

CVS had them recently for $10. I bought one to travel with because, as a short adult, I sometimes have a GREAT deal of trouble getting into hotel beds.

Funny (now ) story. I was in Las Vegas a few months ago, in a hotel that fortunately has a small sitting area in the room. Fortunate because the bed was just a little too high for me to climb onto, or even to sit on far enough in that I could sprawl into bed.

First night, I slept on the shorter-than-me sofa. In the morning, I called the Front Desk and explained the situation and asked if they had any kind of stepstool I could borrow. They don't, and I had been unsuccessful using the desk chair as one.

The problem was eventually resolved at both that hotel and their property to which I was moving the next day (in both cases, they found me non-pillowtop mattresses and switched 'em out with what was normally on the bed) - but the most unbelievable suggestion I got from the first person I spoke with was, "Well, when you're ready to go to sleep, call Security and they'll send somebody up to help you into bed"!!!!!!!!!!! :

Thanks! It's hilarious now, but you did NOT want to hear my immediate response to that suggestion! Although when I tell people about, often the reaction is, "Well, you should have asked for a cute Security Guard!"
