Second part of the report :-)

Day 1 (Part 1)

Confusion at the coach station - getting a coach in the early hours of the morning the clocks change is not a good idea!

Leave Manchester at 2.30am (post clock change) and the ride is filled with many many sleepy times :-)

Amie is very mean and takes pictures of me wearing my oh-so-lovely sleeping mask and neck pillow. Grr.

Arrive in London 7am, very hungry and starting to get excited. Erm. Well. Not really. We've gradually been getting more and more excited over the space of the past 4 weeks, scaring fellow students with our levels of Disney-obsessiveness.... but shhh! People don't need to know that!

Navigating the tube with our luggage was surprisingly stress free - a straightforward journey round the circle line from Victoria to St Pancras.

Check in was ridiculously quick and easy - despite me being frisked as we went through security! Short wait in the lovely departure lounge then boarding.

We love the Eurostar seats!! The headrests are AWESOME, meant that more sleepy times were to be had!!

Amie got rather amused by the train manager's accent : "Woah! It's Dracula talking to us!"

The train is pretty quiet, even when the carriage filled up in Ashford.

Start eating our, erm, interesting Disney princess biscuits:

Amie : "They taste like biscuits wrapped in play-doh!" That was a pretty accurate description.....

Then, we enter the tunnel. Amie doesn't notice this for a good 5 minutes. Then I hear "Ooooooh! Its gone all dark!!! Whys that?" *shakes head in despair*

Wooo!!! Arrived in France! I say one of the stupid things that I'm prone to saying : "We're abroad without adult supervision! *pauses* We ARE adults!". I blame the tiredness. Anyways, it is the first time both of us have been abroad without either parents/teachers to look after us. We're pretty confident that we'll be okay, seeing as we're going to probably one of the safest places in Europe....

In just 1 1/2 short hours, we'll finally be there after 3 months of planning! (The trip was booked on Christmas Eve as an early present to ourselves!)

Is it a ninja! NO! It's Angus!

I hope you get your own back on Amie for taking the photo whilst you're asleep!! ;) :rotfl2:
