On my first and only DCL stayed in a Cat. 11. SO my question is this...what is a steamer trunk and what cabins have them? This time booked a cat.9.

TIA

Click here for a recent thread, "What categories have steamer trunks?"

Last time, I wrote, "It looks like an old fashioned steamer trunk, standing on its end, with its "top" facing forward so that it swings open like a door. There are shelves inside. It's actually a tall dresser that just looks like a steamer trunk. It's a useful and versatile storage space."

The steamer trunks look like old-fashioned "trunks" except they are basically standing on their side (not flat). It opens up and there are a bunch of shelves for storage. WE had a cat. 9, too, and had one. NOt sure if ALL cat. 9's have them.
