Was going to do a search but my search isnt working. Anyway what kind of steam mop do you have and do you love it any recomendations?

just bought the shark steam mop deluxe it is ok cleans the floor pretty good. but feels kinda cheap as you push it it doesnt feel real sturdy. (i paid around $65 for it a kohls with a 30% discount) think it retails for $119.

I have the H2O mop. Do I love it? I love a steam mop, it's great. I love that I don't have to wait for it to heat up, used to have one that took about 5 min to heat up, that stunk. It doesn't feel cheap or like it'll fall apart like PP said of the Shark, love that. I'd like it to be slimmer, the pad part. This fits well under most things, it's much better than my previous one (and I don't remember what it was, but years ago) but I could still use one a bit slimmer, both in height and width, I have a few places it just won't fit in... but I would NEVER give it up. I feel much better, much cleaner than with a mop I'm spreading dirty water on the floor with!

I love my Shark! It's the high end one. I don't remember how much it cost, but I know I got the pricier one because I thought it might be better. I heats up almost instantly, cleans beautifully, and doesn't require chemicals. I'll never go back to the old way of cleaning my tile floors (except that I do disinfect around the toilet as an extra added measure of cleaning).

I bought a Haan thru QVC and I love it. I use it on my older homes original hardwood kitchen floor, and also my ceramic tile laundry room floor. I fill it, plug it in and by time I take everything up off the floor it's ready to go. No excess water build up. It came with 2 micro pads which go right in the washer. I have an open floor no small spaces or crevices so it works great. I even go over the kitchen counter with it before I do the floor. I find that if I dampen the pad first, it's easier to get started. Highly recommend this mop.:cool1:

Based on this web-site:

and reviews on Amazon.com we are buying the Bissell 1867-7. Ordering it tonight in fact. Hope we like at well as most others.

I've heard the Shark has a cheap feel and doesn't have a swivel head.

I just bought the Bissell on Black Friday. I think it was around $60 at Walmart. We just put in new hardwood floors over Thanksgiving so I haven't had my floors or my steam mop very long but so far I reallly like them both!

The steam mop heats up very quickly and seems to get rid of the dog dribble spots really easily. Not much elbow grease and no chemicals!

I hope you enjoy whatever you decide to purchase!

The H20 mop was the most amazing thing I have ever used to clean, and I used it for everything. It died, and when I went to Linens and Things to buy another they said that the H20 mop was not being made anymore. I'm not sure if that is correct, but it scared me off of buying another one.

I bought the Shark and it is okay. Feels flimsy, and it doesn't take spots out of the carpet like the H20 mop did. It seems fine for cleaning floors, not as good for carpet.

My mom has the Haan and she recommends it.

i have always wanted to get one of these. i checked on qvc and there are two types of Haan steam mops. one is red and white and says Steam and sanitze and the other, the less expensive one, does not. which one do you all have?

I have the shark, its fantastic mine is the the pocket mop that swivels its great and flips over to use other side, 2 head styles and came with lots of the cloth pads and a floor glider and duster. I bought mine at target, not sure price but I know I got a 20.00 target gift card with it.

This is the one I have. I love it! It cleans really well and heats up quickly. I will never go back to a regular mop again! My neighbor has the Bissell too and let me try it before I bought one. I ordered it from Walmart.com the shipping was free.

This is the one I have. It sells for about $120 but I got mine at BB&B for 20% off with the coupon. I really like it....my tile floors have never looked cleaner and it is so easy and fast to use. My mom tried it on her wood and it worked great too. I have no interest in using it on the carpet so can't comment on that.

I have laminate floors with a slight texture. The color variates within each square, so at first we didn't really notice how the dirt stayed in each one - then we started trying different things to clean it - ammonia, vinegar, hands and knees scrubbing - nothing worked until I used my laundry steamer (Jiffy) - it, along with a scrubbing brush cleans the squares! The problem is, the steam head is about 4 inches wide - took me hours to clean just a little floor!

If you use a steam mop, most of them seem to come with just microfiber cloths for floors - do they seem to really clean, or do you think I will still need to follow the steam with a deck brush, or something like that?

Sam's Club has the Shark pocket mop for $99, I think, and I will also look at the selection at BBBeyond - I have a 20% coupon for there.

Other brand suggestions? Thanks!

I haven't found need for anything but the microfiber cloths. I do laminate and tile floors, it even gets the grout between the tiles clean without using anything else!

I have the H20 and love it, too. I wanted to pick up one for my mom for Christmas, and got one at Costco. It wasn't called H20, but it was the same thing, exactly. I don't remember what the new name is, but I know that she likes it, too. She has laminate floors, and this is a quick, easy, light way to clean without chemicals!

I have the Shark Pocket mop and love it, heats up fast and dries really quick. I bought it at Kohl's when they offered the 30% and also got Kohl's cash with it, it was just over $100. It came with two other mop ends which I don't use and a carpet steamer which is really nice. It's not cheap at all considering it costs only $100 what do you expect? I think they have a Shark Pocket and a Shark on the market though. I have the Pocket. I'll never go back to a regular mop or Swiffter now.

I have the older version of the Shark steam mop (not the pocket or flip) and I like the mop itself, but HATE the short cord. I cannot even do my entire playroom or kitchen/living area without having to move the cord.

In the Consumer Search article that was linked here, in the Full Report, they list a Reliable Steamboy T1 mop. That is the exact same mop at the H2O but with a longer cord, I believe. I know it looks exactly the same.

I have an H2O. My mother got the new Shark Pocket one, so I inherited her H2O. I like it OK but would not have spent the money myself (I'm cheap! :rotfl:). It does not leave the floor all dry like they advertise. I just go over it w/ a dry microfiber cloth that I put on the Swiffer handle/head. I've only used it on my laminate a couple of times (I use the Bona kit for regular cleaning and plan on using the steam mop at the end of each season).

I was excited to get a steam mop but once I used it I didn't like it. I had a shark and I found the handle was really flimsy and the mop made my hardwood floors look streaky after using it.

I have the basic shark that i use to clean my ceramic tile floors and I LOVE it. heats up quick and cleans really well. I have had problems with cleaner buildup in the past and love the fact that it gets the job done without the cleansers!
