Steakhouse 71 Lounge

If I make a reservation for Steakhouse 71 can I choose/request to sit in the lounge instead of the dining room? We want to eat at the lounge for apps & drinks but also want to be able to drive/park at the Contemporary from AKV due to a family member w/mobility issues (non park day).

As far as I know they do not take reservations for the bar. The bar is first come first served. So you could make a reservation knowing that you have a table as a backup if there is no room at the bar. And having a reservation would allow you to park at the Contemporary if you are driving, as you need a reservation to park unless you are a guest of the resort.
