Steakhouse 71- Christmas Week no open reso’s?

Anyone have any idea why there are no open redo’s lunch or dinner throughout the whole week at Steakhouse 71?

I was surprised to see nothing available today since Dec 25 is now on the 60 day window!
I plan to keep checking for a reservation to seat 6 for Xmas day but I did schedule a different location just in case.
It seems like that window jumped from Dec 21 to the 25 overnight !

I just checked and there are now reservations open for Christmas Day breakfast, lunch and dinner!

I am surprised I don’t see any reservations for Christmas Eve! We have gone there the last two years for Christmas Eve it’s kind of a tradition now. But nothing is available for this year which is a first for us.

I’ve been watching since my adr window opened early last week. I’m confident they’re not full, just haven’t been released yet. This has happened with random restaurants for the last year or 2. Keep watching because they’ll just suddenly be available.

I check in 12/21 so that day I did see openings but they were quickly gone. I couldn’t get a table for 5 so ended up booking for 4 on 12/23 (will check in early and ask to add a guest; usually resorts are ok esp during opening and have a lounge).

I would setup a stakeout search.

It’s been like this since I started going to Disney 15 years ago. Probably had been going on for long before that.
