Is there some kind of dress code, written or unwritten, for breakfast at Steakhouse 55? I want to blend in as much as possible.

TIA,

Zbugz

Not at all. I was there two weeks ago and no dress code whatsoever. Restaurant was quite
Empty, only two other tables. Breakfast was great and great service! We were ready to hit the park after breakfast so you can guess how we were dressed!

Super, thanks so much for the information. I think we'll give it a whirl next week.

We had breakfast there after the CHOC Walk last month. Having just finished the walk, you can imagine what we looked like (sport attire and walking shoes). No one batted an eye, the service and food were very good, and the whole atmosphere was pleasantly relaxing. Some other people were having a meeting breakfast (so their dress code was more formal), but casual dress for everyone else was fine, too.

I really like this restaurant for breakfast, and like everyone said, you don't have to get dressed up.

As others have noted there is no problem wearing park attire when going to Steakhouse 55 for breakfast.

We enjoyed our breakfast there. When you first walk inside the building you may be faced with a huge number of people waiting to be seated. Don't worry - they are waiting for Goofy's Kitchen!

Good to know in advance.

Thanks, Everyone.

::: snicker :::

I think this is one of the best kept secrets at Disneyland - excellent breakfast, surroundings, service, and the cost is reasonable by theme park standards.

I was most impressed with the service there. They wheel out the food on carts.

Also loved all the old photos on the wall. Val & I had a good time trying to recognize the different people. Some were familiar, some obscure. If you are stumped, ask you server for the cheat sheet.

Somewhere on the board I mentioned Neil in Disney Dining and he suggested Steakhouse 55 for breakfast. He says he eats there two or more times a week and said that he couldn't believe more people didn't.

My family of 4 (DH, DD11, DD7, myself) ate there a week ago today upon our arrival and check in (room not ready) of the hotel. What a magnificent gem this place is. Food was delicious, service was stellar and there was only one of family in the restaurant. My family was dressed very causally from our road trip and the other family appeared to be headed to the park right after breakfast.

I am going through withdraws right now.

I want to go back!!!!!!

Glad to hear the reports. We have ressies for Friday a.m. Very excited!
