Steak And Potatoe

Ok everyone, where can you get a steak and potatoe baked nothing fancy just a steak and baked potatoe. Disney can't even tell me.

We were very impressed with Yachtsman Steakhouse when we visited last year. DH had a filet, I had a prime rib and we both had mashed potatos. I belive you can get baked there instead, but the mashed were out of this world. We also split a Caesar Salad and a side of creamed spinach(an adventurous new dish for us). Everything was wonderful.

Another thumbs up for the Yachtsman. Pricey but delicious.

Concourse Steakhouse in the Contemporary. From the food status I consider it best, but it is next to Chef Mickey's which can get very noisey.

Agree about Concourse steakhouse. For the money it's a bargain when you look at the portion. DH and I both had the ribeye special with smashed potatoes and some type of red wine reduction glaze and our two DD's ate off of our plates with an extra side of fries. Plenty of food, <$25 a person if I remember correctly. It was so good we ate there twice during our June stay and had the ribeye both times. Very attentive waitstaff also. Le Cellier was wonderful April of 2003, steak melted in your mouth. Our April 2004 visit found the quality of meet somewhat lacking. Maybe just an off night. Bread sticks are to die for!

We love the Yachtsman. Le Cellier is a close second. Some restaurants serve sauces on their steaks so just let them know you want it plain and they will accomodate you.

I am going to try Yachtsman next time to disney. LeCellier was the worst steak I have ever had. I ordered med well and one end was cooked that way but the other end of the steak was rare. Very tough too, I cook better here at home.
