Staying @ Pop - dining @ other resorts?

If you need to get there quickly or get back to Pop quickly, you could always take a taxi. It's a little extra money, but it might be worth to you. You don't really need to decide that in advance. You can plan on using Disney transportation, but if that doesn't work for you at anytime, call for a taxi.

Thanks for all the replies everyone! I think it is worth a try anyway. I do worry about the 1.5 hr transportation though - just because DD is a bit of a fusspot. She might be ok by boat or monorail though, at least it is like a ride as someone said.

Quick question: you can go to a park and then switch buses without actually having to go into the park right?

I'm also staying at the Pop. We are renting a car for 2 days so DH is taking DS's to some gator place for a day, while I spend a day at the parks alone so we have ressies at Whispering Canyon for dinner that night and breakfast at Chef Mickey the next day and then DS's and I will hop on the monorail to MK and DH has a day to himself. Yes I married a non Disney fan it's still hard to believe. Nancy

is it hard to get to FW to eat at trail's end by disney transport from pop century? not sure how far the restaurant is from bus depot????

We usually never have a car while at WDW. We always eat at other resorts. We take a cab. They are always waiting out front and are very convenient. I certainly wouldn't let not having a car stop us from dining at other resorts.
