How do you stay organized once you get to the park. I see ppl who do these rings that they take but can someone tell me what they put on these and how to make one. I am not the most craftiest person in the world. I just want a place to put done our ressie #'s and tips for each park.

I made most of mine up in Microsoft Word. I just set the page size to index card and the font size to 7 or 8. some are just sections of my excel spreadsheet printed to fit on an index card, and some of it is just shrunk down on my printer to fit.

I've probably gone WAY over the top with mine...but I'm OCD and neurotic! :rotfl2: I have 43 cards printed front and back, laminated and held together by 2 rings to make it into a small book. In it I have: transportation tips, park/EMH hours, flight/rental/room info and confirmations, important phone numbers, resort info, passporter maps shrunk down and cut in half so they line up, ADRs, estimated tips for each meal, show/character greeting times, expected weather, touring plans, closures and rehabs, tips and hints, Monica's cards from TGM (which you'll know about if you've signed up for TGM and gone into the community forums), tips for my camera settings, and a mark-off sheet to keep track of our dining credits.

Most of it was just cut and pasted from info I found on here and TGM. Some of it is info from my spreadsheet. It sounds like a lot and it probably is, but it's not as bad as it sounds. I have a card for each day and it looks something like this (although formatted much better and color coded by day!:rotfl:) :

All of that fits on one card.

I have a printer that prints both sides of the paper and then I just run it through my xyron to laminate them.

Yeah, I know...I need help.:lmao:

Easiest is to just take a small piece of paper and write your ADR location, number and time on it. Then put it in your wallet. No need to make this a big production.

I make small laminated cards (they're credit card size). That way, they can fit easily into my wallet and are easier to keep track of than a piece of paper. You can use both sides of the card - I include things like park hours, parade times, ADR info, phone numbers (including the group's cell phone numbers), etc. I can usually squeeze everything onto three cards, front and back.

My dh put all the info on his cell phone palm in the calender part, i will have back up on paper in the room if something would happend to his phone... He even has his alarm set to go off 30-45 min before our ADR

I am a simple person and computer challenged so my way is so easy. I buy different colored 3x5 cards. Everyday gets a different color. On that card I put what park(s) we are going to, any ADR #'s, any special happenings at all and anyother info I may need. I put a paper hole in corner and attach them with a key chain until I get in our resort room. Every night I take off the card for the next day and put it in my wallet which is in my fanny bag.

I have all the details of my trip typed out and put into a Pirate folder. I keep that in the room and look at it before we head out each day. I can remember where and when our ressie's are. Any touring info I just print out and fold up and put in the mini-backpack I carry in the park. Simple, organized and to the point.

List maker here too!!

I also laminate my lists. I carry a "master" ADR list and also write each one down on a sticky note, can peel it off and give to the CM at the podium if needed. Also have my transporation list for getting to different parks, resorts, etc. so we know how much time to accomodate for travelling.

DD will carry her list for her ABC book, it has what she wants a picture of, the park and the area in said park so we don't miss any of them.

I have an Itinerary printed out with everything that we need to do on it and as it gets closer I go into Word and put all info into a calendar so that I can put it on our refrigerator when we get to the resort. I have the master folder when I keep it all organized with tabs. This year we are going on a Disney Cruise AND staying at our home resort for a couple of days. I just got done finalizing most of our activities the other day! Yahoo!:goodvibes :cool1:

Mine is a three ring binder. I have started to make copies of ADR's and ressie# for my hubby and me to have. I like the color coded days. Might have to do that.

Everyone at work laughs at me cuz I carry the binder with me when I go home. :rotfl:

graceandemmasmom haha high 5 for the disorders! i have attention deficit (which means i was the spacey/ditzy kid growing up, and now i have organization issues yay.)
and my sister has ocd! yeah post-its have become my addiction because thats the only way i can remember anything (you should see my kitchen. yellow paper EVERYWHERE during planning time)
anyway, i have this cool little passport/ticket holder from lands end that has a gazillion pockets on the inside and it is my LIFESAVER! i hope they still have those! i'll post when i find a link, seriously, everyone should have those!
