Hi I have a question we are looking to sneak a couple of weeks May/June 2016 at DIsney world. In the uk they are offering the free Disney dining plan if you book hotel and tickets together. They are giving two weeks tickets for the price of. 1 week . What we are planning is to do a week free dining with a stay at Caribbean beach then using a weeks worth of DVC points . We will still have a week to use in the parks then. My question is can we do this and how do they do it with the magic bands? Would they just transfer the tickets onto new bands or just keep the bands you have ? Thanks in advance

Don't know how they will deal with the switch but the only thing on your MB's is an account code. All tickets, reservation info, FP's are in your MDE account, your MB's allow you to access that info.

we did a split stay (however is was 2 dvc reservations so might not be exactly the same) but all our tickets/ rooms access was linked to the magic band (however we were sent a set for each reservation) All the magic bands work for the entire 2 weeks. As long as all bands are linked to your MDE account you should be ok. You might want to make sure the second week iof tickets doesnt require you to have a resort reservation though.

Magic bands just access information in your MDE account which your tickets are linked to. Any of your MB's should work for the ticket admission.
