Staying one less night

ETA: a supervisor solved half the problem and removed the night with out taking away the discount, will still try to get Yacht for first night. One of my better phone calls with them, very pleasant today.


I have a reservation booked for 7 nights but my dates have shifted and I will be arriving a day early and leaving a day early.

I am booked under a discount. There are currently no rooms available at the Yacht club for the first night, so we are staying at All Star movies.

We are now checking out a day early, but if I modify my reservation to reduce the stay my price goes up now that the discount is not available. Fine I will keep the last night and call it a day.

However what are the chances when I arrive they will let me cancel the last night of the reservation and possibly refund me?

Such a waste for me and them I would think. Not putting the room back in to circulating the night SWGE opens!

The other option is to see if that first night (where you're at all stars) is available at yacht under the discount and move the entire reservation a day early. Unless you already tried that....

Thanks both! A supervisor was able to drop the last night with out increasing the price.

Now if I can add on the first night at some point I’ll be thrilled!

Good to hear. Checking out s day early would likely have not gotten you a refund; at least none should have been expected.

Fair. I’m happy they were able to adjust..... sometimes they make things very difficult
