Staying on the ship (Magic) while in port

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has stayed on the ship in port and if so are there things to do? We have done the Atlantis excursion last time. I would appreciate any suggestions and thoughts. Thank you!

You can use the pools, watch films, lay in the sun, walk around the ship. Still eat at the times offered.

I never leave the ship unless it's somewhere we haven't been. Work out, lay at the adult pool, maybe attend a lecture or tasting...just treat it like a resort hotel.

I think so many people have been to Nassau at this point that more stay on the ship than get off. When we go there, we treat it as another sea day. There aren't quite as many activities as there are on sea days but they usually offer better deals in the spa, and as the poster above noted, there are movies and the pools are open. It's also a good time to get pics on the ship without as many people around and the lines for the water slides are not usually as long.

Thanks for the responses. I was worried that possibly everything closed down while in port. Can't wait...3 weeks from today!!
