I am getting confusing information here and I hope someone can help a newbie out. We are staying at the DLH. Several places have stated that because we are staying on site that we have access to Early Entry/Magic Morning whenever it is available during our stay. BUT on our itinerary (went through Disney Travel Company) it says we have *ONE MAGIC MORNING.

Can anyone clarify? Have they changed it recently? We are leaving in a week and with 4 little kids we are trying to do as much advance info gathering as possible.

Thanks-

Moose

Thanks- I read through that earlier but was still not getting it I guess. When they say 'charge slip given to you at check in' is that your credit card receipt or something different?

Thanks for the quick response-

Not sure if you are aware but another perk with staying on site is if you buy something (aside from food related) within the park you can have it sent to your hotel for pickup the following morning instead of carrying it around the park! This is a wonderful perk that we use when we stay on site.

When you check in at you hotel, they'll give you a slip of paper that you'll show when you go through security to get on the Monorail for early entry. And yes, DangerMouse is correct...you'll get to go in early each day that it's offered as long as you're staying on site. Have fun!:woohoo:

That charge slip will also be what you can use to charge items/food bought in the parks to your room. (It isn't good at the DTD restaurants/stores, however.)

So you have to go through the Monorail to use this slip of paper?

We're staying on property for the first time in fall and I was actually looking forward to the walk every morning. :)

No.

When attending MM/EE it probably is better to WALK from the DLR hotels to the DL front gate if you want to maximize MM enjoyment. (& you take the slip of paper when walking.)

I also enjoy the early morning walk of (5-7 min.) & for me (& you) it's the preferred method of transport. For some reason some folks prefer to ride the monorail into DL on MM (normally arriving 2-18 minutes after the walkers.

Enjoy the walk. :thumbsup2

We were at DL over MLK weekend and did MM both Saturday and Sunday. We were at the turnstyles by 7:45 am on Saturday and when they opened the park at 8am we went right through (with the park tickets and slip of paper of course) and rode Nemo to get that out of the way. On Sunday, we didn't quite make it out the door until 8am so we thought we would use the monorail to get us straight to Tomorrowland and save some time. WRONG!!! Only 1 train was running so we stood in line for 30 minutes waiting to get on the monorail. Definitely walk to the main entrance no matter what time you are trying to get into the park for MM. I am glad we did Nemo the first day as they were having technical difficulties on Sunday and it was not open for MM.

Have fun!!!

I have a question about "on-Site" hotels. Are only the three Disney hotels considered On-site or are the Good Neighbor hotels included in the Magical Mornings?

Good Neighbor hotels are not included. If you stay at a Good Neighbor hotel you only get the MM that are included with your bonus ticket/package.

The charge slip is a little piece of paper you get at check in. You show it to a CM (cast member) if you.....

1) Want to charge something to your room at any of the onsite hotels or in the parks (food or merchandise).

2) If you want to take advantage of Magic Mornings/Early Entry more than once. (ALL visitors with a 3-day or more park hopper gets access to one Magic Morning. Only guests staying at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels have access to Magic Mornings everyday it's offered during their stay, so at the turnstiles, you just show the CM your charge slip and they'll scan your tickets for the day, and you're all set.)

3) If you want to use the Grand Californian's private entrance to California Adventure.
