Staying on-site but saving PH MM for when off-site?

So if I can I'd love to book 2 nights @ DLH or PP *great Getaway rates* for DD's B~day trip and then move somewhere cheaper for our last 2 nights ~ if we do we'd get the MM on Sat. & Sun, we'd also have a MM on our 4 day hopper, would it already "eat" that MM when our ticket is scanned when we show up for the MM on Sat. or could we save it for Tues. morning when we're off site? I've only used MM on site privelages when we've stayed with our APs.

Bump ~ anybody?? We are now staying at the DLH for our 1st two nights (7/2 & 7/3) this means we'll get MMs on Sat the 3rd & Sun the 4th ~ we'll get a MM with our PH, can we save that for use on Tues. or we'll it get used when our PH is scanned Sat. morning??

I also have an AP and use MM with onsite hotel guest privileges but seem to remember that when you use the MM with a parkhopper, they cross off the "includes one Magic Morning" on the parkhopper - don't know if that is still the situation. If so, just ask the CM at the turnstile not to scratch it out and use your room key for Sat & Sun and the MM should still "be there".

I haven't stayed on site, but I *thought* that from reading on here, your room key is what you present to get the MM when staying on-site, then for the other times, they would cross of your MM on the park hopper once you're staying off-site. Again, that's just based off of things I've read on here, I haven't done it myself.

Hmmm, that is a tricky question. They don't just "cross it off" of a ticket. When the ticket goes in, it scans the ticket and virtually removes it from the ticket. I would ask when you enter and see if maybe they can print you a special pass that proves that you used onsite MM instead of your ticket MM. Hopefully they will be very accommodating.
