Staying on site and swimming question

Do you know if guests are allowed to swim at other on site property pools or just the one where you are staying? We will be staying at the Grand Californian in September, and we were wondering if we could rent a cabana at DLH even if we aren't staying there. If not, no biggie. I just think our boys would like to try that swimming pool. Thanks!

My understanding is that you'll be able to rent a cabana if they have one available.

You can definitely do this, as long as they have availability. We're staying at the Grand and I just called this AM for cabana reservations. The reservationist, who knew we were staying at the Grand, asked which hotel I wanted them for. I was able to make cabana reservations for both the Grand and the DLH through the number for the front desk at the Grand.

It might be best to make them through the Grand since you do have to be a hotel guest and the Grand can verify that, rather than calling the DLH, just in case.
