:confused:we are highly considering staying off site 4 miles away so we can have a kitchenette, go to grocery stores with rental etc etc... then someone told me we would have to obviously park our car and pay, then ride a tram to ticket counter and then take the monrail to the park for a total of 30 minutes start to finish! is that true because i thought we could just park and walk to ticket counter or take tram to the park??please help

You will drive to the toll booth at MK, pay to park. Park your car and ride a tram to Ticket and Transportation center. If you don't already have park tickets you will buy them here. Then ride the monorail or boat to the Magic Kingdom entrance.

Magic Kingdom is the only park at WDW that you will have to do this. Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Disney Studios will have the toll booth for parking, then you just walk or ride the tram to the park entrance.

We get a AAA VIP parking card, so we don't even need the trams. We have a short walk to the entrance. We pay to park daily but it's nothing compared to the money we save staying off-site.

For MK, you have to ride the monorail or take the ferry from the lot to the park. My kids look forward to both. It's definitely part of the experience.

We never go to the ticket counters because we already have our tickets for the entire trip. Will you be buying tickets at the counter every day?

You should try to get tickets in advance, the lines can get long.:surfweb:
