Staying off-site, changing paper tickets to RDIF - loose Fastpass+????

We have older tickets that haven't been used that need to be changed from paper to plastic as I understand you can't use the paper ones at the gates. If we change these tickets the day we arrive, will we loose all our fast pass reservations? We are staying off-site, so magic bands are not an option.

You won't lose your FP+ selections. If you do want a MB they're available for purchase in the park ($12.95 + tax).

We have the same situation and I called to talk to someone. There is a guest services location at downtown Disney where you can also make the exchange. I thought that might be easier to do the evening we arrive rather than the morning of our first park visit.

Just in case I will print out our fastpass+ selections but they should stay with the exchange. I was pretty impressed with how easy it was to link our 2010 never expire tickets to MDE.

Great! I was hoping they wouldn't be lost, but thought maybe they would have to create new ticket #'s or something that would possibly make the paper ticket fast passes invalid.
