Staying in Long Beach..

Our hotel will be in the Long Beach area- I know I'm about 30 miles away from DL. Is there any shuttle service that goes to the park and back on a daily basis- I would prefer not to rent a car but wonder if that's my only option.

I haven't heard of any shuttle going as far as Long Beach. You could hire a taxi service, but the distance is far enough that renting a car might be cheaper. Did you check with your hotel? I'm sure you aren't their first guest to want to visit DL. If you do rent a car, keep in mind that parking is $11/day.
