Staying @ Coronado. Should I get vouchers?

Thinking about ordering connections vouchers. We will most likely take a swim break every day. Do you think it's cost effective to order vouchers for dh and I? We will be utilizing the food court at the hotel after the swim almost every day and eating an early dinner there before we go back to the parks.

Has anyone used the vouchers @ Coronado? Were they a good deal in your opinion?

There are three types of vouchers:

Breakfast: good for any sitfown breakfast including the character meals(not Swan/Dolphin) and these are 17.50

quick&casual: these are good for almost all the counter service restaurants at the parks(except some carts) and many of the food courts in resorts. Good for one entree, side, drink, dessert for 11.25

Kingdom luncheon: good for sitdown restaurants in parks/resorts but only for lunch. They are 27.75 or so.

We have used the breakfast and q&c and love them. Nice to have some meals pre-paid. CM know about them and you don't have any problems using them. Pepper Market at CSR and B&C at BC are especially good value for the Q&C coupons. They also include tax and gratuity so they are good deal in that respect. we used athe Q&C at Pecos Bills in MK, B&C at BC, El Pirata in MK, Electric Umbrella at Epcot. Just bough 14 more for June and December trips. You can often split a meal with these vouchers because they includ entree, side, (or combo deal) drink, and dessert.

We are connections members (yearly membership was $79.00)and have always had great service from them; although others have had issues. If you join for a trial $1/one month, make sure you cancel on time or they will charge you for the year. You can buy up to 40 of each kind of voucher per year. Others told me that they will be increasing the yearly fee significantly and if they do, I may not rejoin. They also have great discounts on park passes at IOA, US and WDW along with Blockbuster, TOYRUS and other restaurants so we have gotten our $79! Hope this helps. We have seen people selling these vouchers for WAY over value at e-bay..Id don't recommend that. IMHO

A qualified definitely yes!

Why do I say qualified? Well, if you were to eat cheap in Pepper Market and only get the Mexican food, pizza, a sandwich, etc. the Q&C vouchers may not save you much. However, at Pepper Market you can get a ribeye steak dinner, fresh fish (grilled), or a variety of specials such as prime rib. These are all very good. If you are likely to order these items you will save a lot with the Q&C vouchers at Pepper Market.

What does the pepper market consider a side dish? If I get a big taco salad as an entree, what's a side?

Off-topic, but can you get those cool non-alcoholic drinks with the electric light cubes at the sit down restaurants? We're doing '50's Prime Time and will probably use vouchers to pay. That would be cool if we could get the Lilo and Stitch drinks @ the prime time for "free."

Do you have to be a connections member to order vouchers? We arent members but might want to order vouchers.

If you are going to the Pepper Market you should get some Q&C vouchers. they are a very good value if used there!

Donalds_best_pal - yes, you need to be a member of Connections. I will join to get my vouchers-probably will not keep the membership. I had it a year ago and paid for the year but did not get my money's worth out of it.

Thanks for the advice. We are going to get the Lunch vouchers and go to the Rainforest Cafe our first night and have the "lobstah" as my 3 year old says.
