Staying at VGC on my parent's points - question about WoC

We are going to be at VGC this summer and staying on my parent's DVC points (they will not be with us). Will my family (DH, my boys, and myself) be able to use the viewing area at the Grand Californian that I hear they have to watch World of Color? I am definitely hoping so.
