:cheer2: :cheer2: We are leaving for Disney World in July and we are staying at the All Star Sports....believe it or not, my 13 year old daughter :flower1: asked of we could stay there. We went in 2003 and stayed at the CB resort, loved it there. We are trying to save a little money and staying at the value resorts this tme. Has anyone stayed there? Did you like it? Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

We stayed at Sports lin Dec 2004 and really enjoyed it. We were in one of the preferred room locations and our door did not face the pool. Our room was quiet and clean - we were very happy with it. The food court can get really busy but all in all it was a great experience.

We stayed back in 2003...I really enjoyed it. I love the over sized themeing...some might think it is tacky but to me I know I am at disney not just a hotel. We had a standard room, very quiet was close to the parking. We have since been to POP and are going to All Star Movies this time since my daughter is a hockey nut she wants to stay in Mighty Duck since the sports resort does not have a hockey building.

Enjoy!!!!

Stayed there in Sept. 2002; loved it. Had a room in the football section, second floor, facing a little playground.

I asked DS (8) the other day if he wanted to try another hotel at Disney like the Animal Kingdom Lodge for our upcoming trip in May and he said "NO, I want to stay at the All Star Sports" like we did last time.

We stayed at the ASM in 02. Really liked it.
I thought the foodcourt was great. We ate our non PS breakfasts there.
The only thing negative to me was the size of the room, but I have 3 kids, so you should be fine.

We have stayed twice at the All Star Movies and my kids love it! The theming really appeals to kids, and I have never experienced any of the things people usually complain about (crowded buses, dirty rooms, etc.)
Have fun!

Just got back from ASMo and stayed in Mighty Ducks. Thought that section was great. Very very close to main pool/food court (and yet did not pay the extra charge for a preferred location). Right there at the quiet pool (which is big) and the laundry. AND our room had just been renovated.

I never thought I would stay at AS again or if I did, be happy with it, but I really liked it there and the kids had a good time, including my teenager. We will go back.

We have stayed at AS Sports once and AS Music twice. Both of these resorts suit our family of four just fine. If staying at AS Music request one of the Jazz buildings (closer to food court, bus stop, pool)

We've stayed at Sports twice (Surf's Up building both times - before they were made "preferred") and Music (Broadway) once. I didn't think the walk to the food court/buses was too bad (but it wasn't pouring rain or 95 degrees either!) For the $49 a night we paid at Music, it wasn't bad at all. I think the food court has a good selection, but as a previous poster said, it can get very crowded. I thought the bus service was better than some of the deluxe resorts.

Whatever your decision enjoy! :mickeybar
