Staying at POP - Family at WL and BC

I am the single G'Mother thinking about staying at POP while other family members are at WL and BC.
Will I be able to visit and join the other families at the pools, etc, at WL and/or BC?

The main pool at the Beach Club is restricted to guests staying at the YC, BC and BCV. The CM's check guests and issue wrist bands to registered guests.

The villas' pool has a locked gate that only guests of WL, CC and BR can unlock. I have seen them check guests at the WL main pool to make sure that they were registered at the resort.

Not at BC, however I doubt you would have issues at the WL, especially the Boulder Ridge pool. Technically you are supposed to be a registered guest, if you stop at the FD with your family, they may add you as a day guest. I have never seen anyone check at either of the WL pools and I stay there frequently. You do need a room key/Magic Band to open the gates to the pool.

They are definitely strict at YC/BC with checking for the arm band and keeping the gate locked.

Is there a possibility that you could be added to one of the rooms at BC or WL without going over capacity? That would allow you access to the pools.

WDW rules state each hotel’s pools are for the use of guests staying at that resort. There are signs at the resorts stating this. The other families will not be able to visit the other’s pool either. The only exception is for sister resorts… such as both Port Orleans resorts, All Star resorts etc. As PP said, if the rooms are not at capacity, they can add you to their room & you can access the pools with them then.

Nope. Think about it, what a great hack that would be. Pay for Pop, swim at the Beach Club. You would save hundreds if not thousands of dollars on a trip. The pools at the deluxe resorts would all be overwhelmed.

We stayed at BC last year and they checked our magic bands to make sure we were a guest at the hotel. Then we were given wristbands which they checked every time. There’s no way you’d be able to get in and get a wristband at BC. They are really strict about it
