Are there room "blocks" you recommend as being the best?

We'd like a great view, but somewhat close access to the pool might be great too, for our two kids, ages 6 & 9.

Also, anyone try the Neverland Club? Have recs re: that???

What's the best CHARACTER Bkfst -- Ohana? 1900? Contemporary?

I just returned from my first stay at the Poly, and it will not be the last by far. We were in room 3025 wich is on the thrid floor of the Raratonga building. It was a standard "garden" view room but the view was great nonetheless. The best thing about our room was that it was directly beside the Great Ceremonial House, so we never walked far to get to anything. If a good view is what you are wanting I would suggest a Lagoonview room on the third story. They are more expensive of course but you can see the castle and the fireworks from your balcony. I'm pretty sure none of the buildings are too far from one of the two pools. I've heard that the Neverland Club was excellent.

We do have a lagoon view room.
I like the sound of "a more private beach" & great view of Castle.
My kiddos will love the pool, most I imagine.

If you go at the polynesian resort the polynesian luau Diner show was very very wonderful very nice .a dream when you hear ALOooooooAh

If you are booked with a lagoon view room you will be in either Aotearoa, Tuvalu or Tahiti. I suggest requesting Tahiti.

Aloha

Steve

My boys (4-1/2 and almost 6 at the time) loved the Neverland Club during our April 2004 trip. Some say its kind of dark inside but my kids had no problem with that at all. They have lots of activities from arts and crafts to arcade and computer games. They also have a dinner option we used a couple times. I believe its the biggest kids club of all the resorts so I'd guess it doesn't get too crowded. We're going back in to Feb to AKL so we're trying Simba's Clubhouse (even though the boys begged to go back to Neverland Club). To them its like an attraction. Hope you like it. Have a great trip!

Do you need to make a reservation for the Neverland Club, or can you drop your kids off whenever you wish?

We are staying at the Poly for the first time the middle of July. :Pinkbounc We booked a Lagoon view concierge room. I read tikiman suggests the Tahiti building. Is that concierge and why is Tahiti the best? I need alot of input from other people who have stayed there.

Thank You :D

Lagoon View concierge room is in Hawaii. EVEN BETTER!!!!

I would not say Tahiti is better than Hawaii. They are very close to the same but Hawaii is closer to things like the pools, GCH and boat launch.

You will be happy with Hawaii.

Aloha

Supergoof - Its pretty big so I'd guess it doesn't usually fill up but I'd reserve in advance if you want to be safe (esp if you're going during a busy time and if you have a PS so you're counting on using the club). You can book it through WDW-Dine. I think the policy is that you're credit card isn't charged until 24 hrs in advance so you cancel up to the day before if you change your mind. I'm just wondering now though if they guarantee space for Polynesian guests - it might be worth asking - because the Club is open to all resort guests.
