We are staying at a Park'n'fly hotel near the airport in Albany NY next week (Comfort Inn). Has anyone had any experience good/bad re the safety of your vehicle. We don't leave anything visible in the van and it has a good alarm system. Should I be concerned and leave it at the lot at the airport instead.

ottawamom, we did a Park'n'Fly from Boston last year and our car was fine when we returned a week later. But remember your car is just in a hotel parking lot and anything could happen. I feel safer in airport parking and we are now members of PreFlight Parking and for our trip from Boston to WDW in Sept. we will be using them instead of a Park'n'Fly hotel.

We have done park-n-fly several times, usually without incident. We have stayed a few times at a Comfort Inn in Providence where we were able to leave the car in their parking lot and take our keys with us and never had a problem. One time we flew out of Hartford instead. We had a park-n-fly deal with Baymont Inn. We were told the night we got there that we would be leaving our cars in their parking lot. When we got ready the next morning we were told that we had to move our cars to the Piccolo AviStar lot across the street. Here we had to leave our keys. While we were gone my niece realized that she had forgotten some money in the glove compartment of the car. It was gone when we returned. Now whenever we fly out of Hartford we park in one of the airport lots and we have never had a problem. Just our experiences.

We just did the park and fly with Comfort Inn from Boston in March. We left our Mini Van there for 2 weeks. We were convinced it would be gone when we returned :lmao: however there is was...exactly like we left it!

The area that we parking area we had to leave our van in was monitored daily by security.

We did this in Philly last Sept. We did take our "uglier" car just in case! But, everything was fine. It was a huge fenced in lot with security. It was just as we left it.

We did the park & Fly from the LAX Hilton and left our (new) car there for a week. It was no problem, and that was in Los Angeles! By the way, we all have car insurance for a reason. I would not worry about it.
