Hello gang-

We are staying at All Stars Movies for two nights during our 8 day trip in February. We chose a value resort obviously because it was in our budget, but movies specifically because most of the characters are recognizable to our daughter.

She will be 4 at the time of our visit and we were wondering if anyone had any recommendations re: what room to request? We would like something close to 101 Dalmations or other kid related item.

Any suggestions or observations? Did your kids go nuts over something in particular?

TIA-
Mel

We stayed in the Buzz building last year. DD 4 loved it! She loved the whole hotel. I liked being close to the front where the food court and busses were. It is such a great place for the kids your DD will have a wonderful time.

We stayed there in Oct! 101 Dalmations are pretty close to the lobby and adorable. Fantasia rooms are the ones around the pool which is directly behind the lobby. We were in Mighty Ducks, which wasn't great but wasn't bad either, just the other side of Dalmations. She may not like the huge hockey masks on those buildings though, depending on her personality. Some kids might be a little freaked out by them! Those were the only sections I saw on the trip, but hopefully that helps a little.

We stayed in the Toy Story section last March. My DS8 loved playing in Andy's Room. Every morning when we left he said good bye to Buzz and Woody and every evening he told them goodnight. We were on the top floor in a corner room and didn't hear any noise.

Ok, here's some advice. Don't leave your room after you check in, they may give it away!! :scared1: (see my post for more clarification).

The Mighty Ducks buildings are the two best in the complex in MHO. There is the small pool right between the two, the laundry room is right there between the two. Itr only takes 5 minutes to get to the main pool or main building for shopping and eating. Plus you can walk across to the street over to the main building of Music: where IMHO the food and service is much better than in Movies. Plus my sister says that the coffee in the Music food court is the best of any AS resort.
One of the best things about being at Movies is the walking around to see the different buildings facades: afterall once the door to your room is closed the interiors of the rooms in the resort are the same except for the pictures on the walls and the colours of the bedding.

But whichever building you decide to ask for, have a great time.
(don't worry about somebody giving your room away, that is a very rare occurance.)
