Has anyone stayed overnight at the Hyatt at MCO and checked in at airport prior to transfer to port.

We are debating staying at Hyatt and purchasing transfers or staying at Country Inn at Port and renting car to get to port by 10am.

Never did DCL transfers, always car rentals.

Any suggestions...................

I haven't checked in for the cruise at the airport, but I did stay at the Hyatt and took the transfers to the port. It was easy to check in for the bus, but we were walked over to the welcome center as it seems they were low on buses that day. Usually they pick up right at the Hyatt, or so I understand.

If there are more than 4 of you, however, it might be more economical to do a rental or towncar/limo service, as the transfers are $70 per person roundtrip.

We stayed at the Hyatt at the airport prior to our last cruise and yes it is worth it. The room price was reasonable and the meal in the restaurant was great. It made it very simple to go from the room down to the buses for the transfer to the port. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

OK I booked the Hyatt with my Costco discount for $119 and booked a town car for transfers. It is cheaper then DCL transfers for 4. Plus, I spoke with the front desk at Hyatt and he said to remind them about the cruise when I check in and they will pick up luggage and transfer it to port. Also told me to go down the Magical Express desk at 6:30am and check-in for cruise to get boarding pass. This is new for us. We always do parks first or stay at port hotel night prior all with car rentals. So we will be stuck at airport for one day.

I am hoping to have time to stop at store for alcohol prior to going to port.

Worried though that luggage won't make it to ship.

We'll see!!!!!!!
