Staying at Dolphin

We never stayed at the Dolphin before how is it?

We have stayed at the Dolphin three times and enjoyed each stay very much. We will be staying at the Swan for the first time this coming June. Do you have any specific questions?

My DH and I stayed at the Dolphin for our honeymoon in 12/99. It was his first time to WDW and he loved it! I think the best part is the close location to EPCOT's International Gateway and MGM. Plus, we'd take a walk to the Boardwalk or the Yacht/Beach Clubs for extra dining options and entertainment!
We also had a great room with a balcony facing EPCOT, we could watch the fireworks from our room everynight, with an awesome, unobstructed view.
It is themed differently from the Disney Resorts and you can't charge on your room key in the Parks (at least we couldn't when we stayed there). But, I would stay at the Dolphin again!

Love the Dolphin--heavenly beds, grotto pool, great CMs, Starbucks coffee, location, location, location.

My family and I stayed for fourteen days at the Dolphin and found it to be our favorite resort so far. Depending on where your room is, you can get a truley magical view of the Illumination fireworks and the Eifel Tower being lit up. Our room was at the end of a hallway and it had a really nice view and we got because my dad requested it. They're really good about that kind of stuff.

Other plus sides would definetly be all the transportaion options. You're right between Epcot and MGM (both are only a moderate walking distance away.) But if walking isn't your cup of tea then the boats to Epcot and MGM are always a good option. Keep in mind that these boats also stop at other resorts along the boardwalk so if you have reservations to a character breakfast at Cape May in the Yach and Beach Club Resort then all you have to do is catch a boat there (I think its the first stop too but I can't really remember.)

The dining there is great too. There's this burger place at the bottom. I forgot what its called but they have great burgers and shakes that are to die for! And there's a quick market place (Tubbies! Thats what its called!) where you can buy quick snakes to bring back up to your room.

Pools are a dream. There's a waterfall pool, lap pool, and a hot tub thats so relaxing that you could fall asleep in it if you're not careful. And the beach there is really nice too. :cloud9:

All in all, its definetly my favorite resort and I recomend this all the way. Great place to stay and you're right near all the Disney excitement. :goodvibes

We are staying at the Dolphin this summer for the third time. Great hotel, you will love it and the location!
