Staying at Contemporary, Dining Plan - Help

Ok, good plan - For now, cuz I'm so late doing this, I'll keep with the 7pm rezzies.

But... if they close at 8pm, then why do they show reservations for even after 7, like even one at 7:50 pm? And the park closes at 8pm??? How can that be?

Also, you can take a boat from World Showcase right to HS, so if you could get a reservation around 4:30/5 there at a restaurant, you'd be able to make it and probably have about an hour or so at HS.

If there's someplace you really want to try, but can't get anything for right now, make an ADR elsewhere so you're covered. However, keep an eye on cancellations thread and try walking in when you're at the resort.

I'm really not sure why people are recommending places like Chef Mickey's and California Grill, as its pretty unlikely you'd be able to get into either on such short notice.

Oh, I don't know about that, I've been checking back for Le Cellier and a few others, and every day I have ever checked I still got Cali Grill. Granted, she is earlier than me, but it seems to me that Cali Grill is open more often than not.
