We're staying at BWV for the first time this Sept. We've reserved a Preferred View studio. Does anyone have any suggestions on room #'s and/or locations that they've enjoyed? Anything else about the resort that you'd like to share? We're really looking forward to staying at BWV!

Thanks!

Four of our party on our last (and first!) visit to BWV were in 2037, a studio. It's on the lobby level, which elimated having to deal with the elevators. It was above the Big River Grille and had a fine view across Crescent Lake toward Y&BC.

Across the corridor and around a corner was a stairwell which led down to the theme pool and the terrifying Kiester Coaster (that clown.... whew!) We felt that it was a great balance between having the boardwalk view and easy access to the pool.

Being higher might've given us a better view, but that's entirely subjective. Noise was no problem.

FYI- We requested quiet pool view and thats what we got. However, it was quite a walk to everything. We ended up with the last room on the end, top floor, which had a nice quiet view but was hard to walk to after a day in the parks. The main pool has more of a resort feel and would be closer to the elevators. Thats my request next time.

Thank you for the replies! Dreamfinder2, it sounds as though your location was ideal. Perhaps we'll try for a location near the main pool since we'll probably be spending a good deal of time there.

Here is a link with some room reports and it will give you some view comments. Keep in mind not everyone's "ideal" is the same

http://members.aol.com/InstImpres/boardwalk.pdf Asking for a specific room and getting it are slim but this may help you know if the room assigned at check-in will meet your needs. This will give you an idea of “sectional views”.
The files are in adobe acrobat and which can be downloaded from this site for free:

Happy travels,

Thanks Sandy! Those reports will give me an idea of some room #s and locations. I can't wait!
