Staying at BCV-best way to get to MK?

We are staying at Beach Club Villas at the end of the month. Since we have a 6yo, I figure we will be at MK alot.

I was thinking that we would just walk to Epcot and take the monorail to and from MK--or are we better off taking the bus?

Thanks
Jenny

My guess is the bus would work out a little better (and certainly easier in terms of logistics). The buses will probably not be as crowded with guests as at busier times.

I would take the bus. It brings you so close to the park entrance.

If you were to walk to Epcot and take the monorail; the walk is pretty long, going back to the entrance. Then you have to take the monorail to the transportation Center and switch to the MK monorail. It would take longer and have more walking.

It will be much easier on you to take the bus from BCV to the MK. You save the long walk through Epcot. If you don't have a "hopper" pass, you wouldn't be able to walk through Epcot without using-up a day.

If you were to try to walk through Epcot, you would first have to wait for the park to open, then use a day on a hopper pass (not a biggie if you have an AP), then the walk is about 15 minutes at least. Get on the monorail, another 10 minutes to TTC. Then, either switch to the express monorail line that goes directly to MK or get on the ferry. It's going to take about 30-40 minutes to do. You are much better off using the buses to get to both MK and AK from BC. We had no issues whatsoever when we were there...the buses were fine.
