Staying at ASM - How do I get onto shuttle to DCL?

My group of 16 family members are staying at the ASMovies Resort then plan to take the Disney Cruise on Thursday for the 3 day cruise. I found out that Shuttle Service ONLY goes from certain resorts ( the moderate Resorts mostly ).

Getting the family to the Moderate Resorts isn't a real problem from the ALMovies Resort. The main problem that I have is figuring out how to get my entire family's luggage from the ASMovies Resort to one of those moderate Resorts.

I checked into when the Moderate Resorts ( like Port Orleans and Caribbean Resort ) send over the luggage and it appears that they transport it earlier at 8am and then the people separately.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Has anyone else run into this situation before?

I stayed at the ASM resort in January/February of this year and saw the DCL Shutttle Bus almost everyday. Made us want to do a cruise so bad that we booked at soon as we got home to the UK.

We stayed at Pop in December. When we booked our Disney transfers, our TA arranged for us to board the shuttle at the Beach Club. We had to bring our luggage over with us in the morning and there was a particular place, separated by the first letter of last names, to leave it.

We then waited for the bus at the Beach Club (in their solarium, which was lovely), and boarded the bus. Our luggage got to our room before we did!

We'll be doing the same thing for our November cruises, I think.

Personally, I would get a private car service. No lines, and they will pick you up earlier than the buses leaving for the port.
