Staying 11/16-11/24 - will we see Christmas decorations?

What are my family's chances of seeing Christmas Decorations in Disney World this year? Our vacation runs from 11/16-11/24 (departure is Thanksgiving Day).

You'll see some. But don't expect the decorations to be everywhere all at once. However, the closer to departure day for you, the more decorations will appear.

Decorations are going up during your stay. Last year, seems like MK was the last to be fully decorated, but everything is up on Thanksgiving Day. Your week is a great time to visit, great weather and it really gets you in the holiday spirit!

I am going in January. Will I miss the decorations?

I heard that they decorate the Haunted Mansion... is that just in disneyland or in wdw also? And so does that mean that the HM will be down when I visit?

I've been twice in december and never seen HM decorated in WDW!

wish it was tho, a spooky version of xmas would be cool to see

we went from Sunday before Thanksgiving to the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. The tree was up when we arrived on Sunday at MK. The official lighting of the tree was the day before Thanksgiving. The year before we went the same time and the tree was also up and was lit a day or so sooner.
